I’ve stalked the lucky chairs at Vendom on occasion to try for one of their great skins.

I have no patience for lucky chairs.. at all.

Fortunately for me, they also have fortune teller chairs, with Vendom’s beautiful Blue Crytsal Demon Skin. While you’re there, check out the Vendom MM board.

Sometimes a skin doesn’t need anything but the right hair, and what else would I pair with a skin like this but one of Helena Stringer’s sapphire blue Double Duster. The sculptural nature of the mohawk plays beautifully on this unusual skin.

Elisa has a cute little boathouse for free. The shop is closing.. get this while you still can!

Big thank you to s+H and Crissy Designs for the cute clothes shown below!

  • Shown on the left is Doll Dress (0L$) from s+H at the B11 Mall.
  • On the right is BomBon Outfit from Crissy Designs.
  • Skin is from Gypsy Tears.

Close up of the beautiful Gypsy Tears skin, free at their RFyre shop.

The Fabfree group was sent a welcome present from a designer new to the group.

How cool is that? They join the group.. and we get the welcome presents. I’m not quite sure how that works.. but I like it.

There was a little girl with a little curl,
right in the middle of her forehead.
When she was good, she was very, very good.
And when she was bad she was better horrid.

Now.. about the skin.

Gabbana Decosta sent out a notice a few days ago about a skin she was giving away to promote her shop, DreamS. I teleported over, and was handed one of the most beautiful skins I’ve seen yet.

dreams skinI’m not sure if the gift is still available, but the shop is certainly worth a visit!

You might recognise the play on names. Truly Scrumptious was the main adult female character in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (the movie, not the book).

Tuli has a bag of skins.. free!.. that are truly, well.. scrumptious. They are located with the Kalista skins, make plans to grab them now before they disappear.

tuliskins1A Piece of Candy (also truly scrumptious!) gave out another gift to subscribo members — this one a dress with three skirt options in the perfect colour for spring (and one of my favourite colours): olive green.

tuli1Icing (see, this post is filled with truly scrumptious goodies!) gave a dress to subscribo members too, this one a sunshiney yellow and dotted with sping blossoms — perfect for the warmer seasons.

Ti’ko has a free skin for you. If you love unusual skins as much as I do, hurry over to Ti’ko and grab this skin for 1L$ before it’s gone.

Caledon is a beautiful sim any time of the year, but around the holidays,  it’s breath-taking!  To entice you to visit, the shops in Caledon set out a few high quality items for you to take home with you:  souvenirs to remind you of your visit to their fair city.

Caledon has regularly scheduled events on an almost daily basis,  you can take a look at their calendar to see what is happening there.

Kleineschwein has set out two dollarbie skins as gifts. I only picked up the Baroque skin.. but wow!.. this is one of the most realistic skins I have seen to date. I might have to go back and buy one of the pompadour hairstyles to go with it,  and I’m definitely eying those cute little mermaid tops.

Getting to specific shops in Caledon can be a bit tricky since they have a central teleport hub.  To get to Kleineschwein, teleport to Caledon. Once there, turn south to walk past the duck pond and stables. The shop will be  the first building on your right  just past the Christmas tree in the commons.

The dollarbie skins are upstairs in an alcove off the landing area. And don’t forget to pick up the pretty dresses there too!

Something else I just have to show is the lucky chair dress by Moxie Palano. I love this dress — the textures are amazing! MP Haute Couture has a lucky chair and a lucky board with fantastic gifts. I’m always lamenting the fact that “S” seems to come up infrequently in lucky chairs/boards.. but shoot, when I do hit it,  I hit it good!

Hair (*TSS* Bellazane-Black)  in these pictures is by Helena Stringer, of Stringer Mausoleum. This hairstyle was a past gift from Helena Stringer and I’m not sure if it is still available as a freebie, but there is usually a freebie or two sitting around Stringer Mausoleum.. so stop by and check it out.
