The Plastik is among the olde guard of fantasy shops in Second Life, and owner/designer Aikea Rieko (Who also designs awesome everyday wear!) has dreamed up this sweet Drazira skin as her Relay for Life donation item.
But not just one, mind you, no no no.. in all there are TEN skins for you to choose from! With the options, which include tattoos, eye styles, ears (squeee!), and add-on Demon fades, the possibilities for these skins are almost endless. Got a mer avatar? Then you need a Drazira skin!
The Vandariel Armor is a combination of mesh and sculpt, making it patially modifiable to fit your unique avatar. The top is mesh, and comes in four sizes so fitting it properly is never a problem.
And as if that wasn’t enough, the Plastik also has a couple of mermaid skins for you. These skins feature scales, because mer-girls and mer-guys need scales.. at least I think they need scales. Shown is Arkasia {Mola}://Scales, from The Plastik. I’ve shown it with spots layer tattoo, which is included along with a couple dozen other tattoo layers.

I love flying.
Not in huge airline jets.. hate those!.. but in small two or four seat airplanes. There is nothing more exhilarating than piloting an airplane by yourself with nothing but you, the sky, and the ground below. To be a bird and feel the wind rippling through your feathers as you fly must be amazing, though I’m sure that birds take flight quite for granted.
Ruy Bury, of Creative Insanity, has created a tiny little airplane for petites (and biggies) who were born without wings (there are a few of us!).. and for those petites (and biggies) who would like to experience the exhilaration of powered flight. This airplane comes complete with an AO, so that you can really feel like your part of the action.
The AO includes 22 animations, and includes a rideable mesh airplane in two sizes: petite and standard size. The airplane is copy mod so you can recolour it, and is unscripted so you can resize or adjust position in any way you like.
The AO hud will work for both petite avatars and normal sized avatars, just use the appropriate airplane size or resize one copy to your liking.
You can find Creative Insanity at Fantasy Faire 2012, and that brings some good news by the way: FANTASY FAIRE 2012 HAS BEEN EXTENDED FOR ONE DAY! The Faire’s last day will be Monday, not Sunday as previously reported. This means that you have an extra day to get over to Creative Insanity to pick up the great AO’s available there.

But it’s a good thing! Really!
Just when you thought you’d visited every last shop and bought all the stuff you wanted to buy, Fallen Gods, Inc and Yabusaka pull out the stops and spring one more “must have” on us.
From today through 29 April 2012, only at Fantasy Faire 2012, Fallen Gods, Inc and Yabusaka are offering male and female Translucent Doves. These petites are limited edition avatars, are available with a minimum donation of 1000L$, and will not be available in other occasions. All proceeds from the sale of these special petite avatars will be donated to Relay for Life.
The package includes two handy HUD’s for the Dove Petite avatar. One is for tinting the skin. The other includes several handy functions:
You can change the mouth to one of three options – closed, lips slightly parted, and teeth showing.
You can give the skin a metallic look.
A way to hide parts of the avatar – useful for some clothing pieces and other wearables.
Glow options.
Please note:
You need a capable mesh viewer to wear a petite.
This particular edition will not be eligible to updates, wears a no ear version head, and is copy only.
Don’t wait too long, these special petites will be gone in the blink of an eye!

You might have heard some of the buzz about petites lately.
Petites have opened up a whole new world of possibilities in Second Life. We’ve had tinies before, which were – and still are – lovely, but tinies are no where as small as petites.
There are new products coming out that are sized especially for petites, and you can find a lot of things for petites at Fantasy Faire 2012.

AZE Designs has two special things just for us petites: a crown and wand in gold, and in silver. The gold version is shown above, and the silver version is shown below. Crowns are just pretty, all fairies deserve crowns. Crowns are even pretty on boy fairies.. who are pretty enough without the crowns… but crowns are nice anyway. And fairies need wands from protection against monsters like.. um.. frogs, lizards, and the occasional troll we run across. Wands are useful for jabbing them on the toe when they try to step on us, or jabbing them on the tongue when they try to eat us.
You can find AZE Designs at Fantasy Faire 2012, the Stargazer Lily Amethyst Crown & Wand Sets are Donation Items, so your purchase prices goes to help in the battle against cancer. Fairies like that too!
AZE Designs is sharing a shop with Paper Moon at Fantasy Faire 2012 (ooh.. sharing! Fairies like sharing too!). SLurls are provided below for your convenience.

There are only three more days till Fantasy Faire 2012winds down, packs up, and heads out of town until next year. If you haven’t been yet, I strongly urge you to go.

Hairstyle shown above is Teeloh, in Iceberg, from Wasabi Pills. It’s a new release, and comes with the shaved tattoo for an alternative look. This style is Mesh, and is available in Wasabi usual array of totally awesome colours. Pick it up in your favourite colour at Fantasy Faire 2012.
The skin and accessories shown above are from the Fairelands Saga Hunt that I blogged yesterday.
- The skin is from Curious Kitties. It includes a full set of Azil skins, plus a mesh dress.
- Prim Silks are from Rising Silks, and have been recoloured to coordinate with the Fae Lord Spring Crown from Southpaw.
- Terymn Piercing is from ni.ju.

Tekeli-li is one of my favourite shops. It;s one of those shops I love to go into just to look, though I’ve bought my share of Tekeli-li products also; the hairstyles scream mermaid. If you’re into high fantasy, mer, otherwordly beings, and just plain weird stuff.. give Tekeli-li a look.
You can find Tekeli-li at Fantasy Faire 2012, and he has put up a new product as his Donation Item, with a favourite from last year returning to tempt you to wet your feet.
Up first is last year’s Fantasy Faire Donation Item, which Tekeli-li has decided to bring back in case some of you were unable to pick it up last year. This exclusive colour version of the Deep Ones Sailfish is only available as a Donation Item, so pick it up while you can. Shown is the female version, a male version is available too.

The new Donation Item from Tekeli-li is a very simple jewelry set that, like all Tekeli-li products, is full y colour change. The Pectinidae set can be adjusted to coordinate with anything you wear, and has sizes included for both males and females.
Tekeli-li also has some gifts for you, just for visiting the Fantasy Faire 2012 Tekeli-li shop.
The mesh chest at the Faire can be yours for the taking. Once you have the chest at your home, look inside it to get the treasures hidden there. Inside you’ll find Mesh Ankh Earrings with (fully colour change), and a hairstyle, Abberation, that is unisex and fully colour change. Don’t let the name of the hairstyle scare you off, this is a wonderful piece to round out your Tekeli-li collection, and works well for beings from other worlds, merfolk, and high fantasy monsters and rogues.
Besides, you can colour it to match your eyes.

I made the unfortunate mistake of visiting The Tides at Fantasy Fair 2012 first. It spoiled the other sims for me. It’s hard not to look at the craftsmanship that went into The Tides and wonder at just how much work went into building it. This place is beautiful. Not that the other sims aren’t lovely builds, but The Tides is truly elegant.
The Tides is sponsered by Fallen Gods, Inc.
Fallen Gods, Inc is well known for offering us the types of skins that simply can’t be found anywhere else. if you’re looking for an unusual, meticulously crafted skin try Fallen Gods, Inc first.. you’ll wind up there after a long search through other shops anyway.
For Fantasy Faire 2012, Fallen Gods, Inc designer, Alia Baroque, has turned his eye to the heavens. We’ve seen skins reflecting the elements, skins that take their beauty from the rocks of the earth, skins that allow us to imagine ourselves as dragons, wolves, and reptiles. And exquisite human.
This year, we take flight.
Feather is a new line of skins that successfully merges humans with birds.
There are three main colour varieties: Dove, Hawk, and Raven. Each colour variation has twelve different versions, and can be purchased separately. Three colour versions Dove Ghost, Dove Pale, and Dove Silver, are Relay for Life Donation Items. Purchase of these special colours means that you purchase price goes to Relay for Life to help in the battle against cancer. See the first Feathers picture for a sample, face detail immediately above.
The skins are shown with the optional PG cover.

The hairstyles shown in this post are from Wasabi Pills. The longer style is a new release ,called Teeloh, featuring a shaved look on half your head. This alternative style is unisex.. you gotta love it! I’ll be showing more Wasabi Pills items in another post, so stay tuned.
If you’re looking for some very cool avatar parts to wear with these skins, I suggest taking a look at the following products:
Humanoid Dravyn Legs
Nyxus Wings
Archon Wings (also available in white)
Accessories at Illusions (bird heads, wings, clothing)
Luna Barak, of Moonstruck and Fanavatar, has put up a very special one-of-a-kind items for the Fantasy Faire 2012 Auction. If you are the successful bidder for the Pater Tiberino Fountain, you will be the only person in all of Second Life to own it.
The Pater Tiberino Fountain – a one of a kind creation that will go in auction at the Fantasy Fair, and well, just read Luna’s own explanation below. A lot of work went into re-creating this beautiful fountain, and I couldn’t help but photograph the Moonstruck and Fanavatar Donation Items in front of it. Please enjoy!

The Spring Song hairstyle, shown below, features braids ending in ponytails that frame your face. Flowers are woven into the hairstyle to form a pretty wreath around your face and around the bun sitting at the back of your head. Truly, no medieval maiden should be without this fanciful style.
Shown with Spring Song is a lovely gown called Andromeda, named after the maiden who was saved from certain death by Perseus. As we know, Andromeda was immortalised when, after her death, the goddess Athena turned her into a constellation. You too will be immortalised, in the songs of troubadours, when they sing of the great beauty strolling in gowns more beautiful than the the flowers of her gardens.
Of course, if your nature leads you to more adventure than strolling amongst flowers, perhaps Giana is more your style. Giana is for the elven maiden who likes high adventure! Pant legs are tapered to tuck neatly into boots.. you wouldn’t want to snag them on brambles when running from dragons after all. Mossy green helps camouflage you in the forest, so you can sneak up on those pesky goblins who have been terrorising your village.
But just in case you’re the kind of girl who likes to wear a dress while engaging in high adventure, Giana has that covered too!
You can see the fountain for yourself here.

Continuing with some of the great Donation Items you’ll find at Fantasy Faire, today’s spotlight is Paper Moon.
Delicate Nature comes in two colour versions: “Blossom” and “Grass”. Each set includes the four necklaces as shown. Each set costs 150L$ and is a Donation Item, ie: your entire purchase price goes directly to Relay for Life! Seriously, at approximately 38L$ per necklace, this is a deal not to be missed! In fact, at that price you should pick up both sets.
These necklaces delicately symbolize elements of nature and are something any elven maiden would be proud to own.
