Just a couple of things this morning, like almost everyone else the past few days.. I’ve been super busy.

Not all of the clothes in this post necessarily have anything to do with Christmas, but some of them do. The common thread that holds this post together is that these are all clothes I’ve picked up recently, that I absolutely love.

A mix of recent shop gifts, holiday gifts, old dollarbies, and good design can be seen above, in what could be a scene right out of a fairy tale. The lovely Blue Bell dress, more fit for a spring day than the dead of winter, is an Apple Bobbing prize from Deviance. The shop has a new design.. and looks fantastic! Take the time to look around, the new layout makes it so much easier to find exactly what you’re looking for.

The hairstyle shown in the picture above was a holiday gift from Maitreya, I love this style that is reminiscent of the 60′s. Skin is from SmashFace, and is no longer available.

Curious Kitties has a fun holiday game going on. There are some very cute prizes, including the Plaid Teddy Bear Avatar, show above. You can find out more at the Curious Kitties Blog, as well as see all the other great prizes you have the chance to win. I’m not sure how long this event lasts, so take the opportunity to try it out while you can.

The flowers shown in this post are all from Pocket Gardens. I love these little bursts of colour planted around my gallery. These are copy, so you can add as many as you like, because they are copy.  Some come with nicely done single and sweet couple poses too.. a very nice touch!

Lestat Reuven makes lovely clothes that lean toward looks you might find in real life.I love the challenge of taking them and adding a slight twist to give these clothes my own unique “Shang” style.

Along with jeans and everyday wear tops you can find some stunning gowns.. and we know we’ll all need gowns for those parties coming up, ladies. The beautiful gown shown above, Holiday Satin, is a versatile gown you can wear any time of the year, but it looks especially pretty during the holidays when paired with jewelry from p/a. Get it for a limited time for the special price of only 100L$!

Hairstyle is by Raspberry Aristocrat.

I worked on a dairy farm when I was a teenager in exchange for horseback riding lessons, but I never wore anything like Milk Maid, shown above, while milking cows or hauling hay. This pretty dress takes it’s name from the lovely creamy colour, which flatters any skin tone, and is a wonderful contrast in hues when seen against a snowy backdrop.

Antlers from Prim & Pixel Paradise.
Mask from Illusions.

The innocent looking Shy, shown above, is suitable for a winter wedding. Shown here, with a whitish hair and skin, it takes on an ethereal quality.

Hairstyle by Maitreya.

So appropriate for an Alice-themed sim, this fun gown is called Chess. You’ll have no problem winning, when dressed in this low-cut gown, your opponents eyes will be on you make.. not on the board!

Hairstyle by Omega Point.
Skin from Kiko Life.

This confectionery delight is called Holiday Chocolate, a personal favourite. The lean lines and plunging neckline of this gown will make anyone look long and lithe. Heads will turn when you make your grand entrance wearing this sophisticated gown.

Hairstyle by Concrete Flowers.

Clothing featured in this post is from Siss Boom, with designs by Lestat Reuven.
Poses are from Diesel Works.

I’ve had this Purple Passion skirt from Sinners in my inventory for a while now. I like the delicate, greyed lilac colour, and I especially like it with the soft green of the Wezz Sweater from Modd G.

This is a skirt you can actually move in!

Dance like nobody's watching!

Accessories like the scarf from G Field (update group gift), the Simple Leggings in Plum from Concrete Flowers (1L$) , and SoHo Boots from Maitreya (update group gift)

Photographed at The Forest on Caerleon Isle.

You only have a few more days left to complete the Sugar Skull Hunt. It’s not a huge hunt, and it can be done in a couple hours.. so you still have plenty of time.

Lelutka, well-known as one of the leaders in the Second Life fashion world has an outlet shop. The clothes you’ll find in the outlet shop are older designs that have been slashed in price by 30% – 70%. Prices on some items are as low as 50L$.

Lelutka Outlet Shop

Not related to the outlet shop is a new release that was sent out to Lelutka group members.

Clothes and skin from Lelutka

The Paine miniskirt, shown above, looks great with the Mariyah shirt, also a former Lelutka group gift. I’ve paired these pieces with shoes from Maitreya and the Uma hairstyle from TeaLane for a trendy, casual look.

She’s a dilly, that’s for sure.

One of her favourite things to do when guys tapped her on the shoulder, was to simply.. turn around. It usually cut short any further attempt to hit on her.

Dress from Dilly Dolls, shoes from MaitreyaAll decked out in her dress from Dilly Dolls, those hot red pumps from Maitreya, and the too-cute-for-words pony-tailed hairstyle from Kosh, it was just too easy to mistake her for a normal girl.

Until she turned around that is.

Halloween Hunt skin from GeEs

Their shocked look and the inevitable bumbling, “er.. excuse me.. I thought you were someone else” always gave her a laugh.

GeEs is having a hunt. You can find some fun tank tops (one is shown below), these great skins (I love wearing the beared lady one!), and some excellent quality eyeballs (Exodi eyes shown above, GeEs shown below).

The hunt tank, above, shows a lot without showing anything at all.. very sexy.

Lelutka has a new skin line available, and sent out a highly coveted sample pack to their group members last night.

This new skin line has a very fresh look, with different hair and brow options available. Lelutka does charge L$ to join their group, this is to help prevent “group hopping” for group gifts, and to keep problematic spammers out of the group.

Eclatlight, new skin line fromLelutkaBelow, I’ve paired this youthful looking skin with fashions from Virelai’s Fashions.

Midnight mania prize from Virelai's FashionsThe first is the Lady Boh gown, which was a midnight mania prize. This is a simple gown, suitable for a stroll through the gardens, or a trip into town. medieval and Gorean role players — this gown is perfect for you!

In shop gift from Virelai's Fashions

The autumn dollarbie, above, is a sweet fairy outfit, complete with wings and shoes. The autumn colours look wonderful with hair from Maitreya (not free), and the new Lelutka skin.

Fantabulous gifts and dollarbies from Ravissant, Decoy, and Volt.

On the left is the graphic black and white Pencil Dress (0L$)  from Ravissant. This is paired with the clean lines of the Verve pumps from Maitreya. The flower (0L$) is from Duh.

Center are dollarbie Shirt, High Waisted Skirt, and Purple Tights from Ravissant, paired with Sunny Lemon Ankle Boots from Duh.

On the right is a Hooded Blazer from Decoy, Music Love Leggings and Real Ripped Jean Shorts. The leggings and shorts came together with a great pair of sandals in one lucky chair win. Woot! The sneaks are from Coquette.. and I think they were a subscribo gift. I’ve had these for a while, and I absolutely love them. The various parts are fully colour change for an almost endless variety of options.

Wow, a lot of stuff to show in this post.

Been in an ornithopter lately? The SteamPunk  Hunt has a working model for you to try out. It will fly with a capable pilot at the controls.

Steam Sparrow Flying Hansom from Munro Imaginary Motors, UTE Suit from G&N Quality Designs

Of course, if the pilot is less than competent, you end up plummeting to the ground.

High above some sim, just before we stalled.

It’s a good thing that SL mishaps are move forgiving than RL mishaps. After we hit the ground (it was a no-fly sim we ended up over), we dusted ourselves off and teleported back to the loft.

Relaxing afterwards.

Back home safely, we laugh about the flight.
