Elvenbreath has been selling amazing gowns for as long as I can remember, and if you do a search on this blog, you’ll see that posts about Elvenbreath go back to the very beginning of this blog. Designer, Selina Forder, has more recently delved into the realm of Petites, and making clothing for them.. not that she’s given up on biggies (as we call normal sized avatars).
This year, Elvenbreath has three outfits set aside as donation items: Two for females, and one for males. Donation items are special products you can purchase, usually exclusive to Fantasy Faire, where your purchase goes directly to the American Cancer Society in its fight to eradicate cancer.
The Details
- Arkasia {Mola} from The Plastik (top).
- Isolde skin, from Exodi (bottom), no longer available.
- Anais Mesh hairstyle from \wasabi pills\ (top), and Alice Mesh hairstyle (bottom).

The Plastik is among the olde guard of fantasy shops in Second Life, and owner/designer Aikea Rieko (Who also designs awesome everyday wear!) has dreamed up this sweet Drazira skin as her Relay for Life donation item.
But not just one, mind you, no no no.. in all there are TEN skins for you to choose from! With the options, which include tattoos, eye styles, ears (squeee!), and add-on Demon fades, the possibilities for these skins are almost endless. Got a mer avatar? Then you need a Drazira skin!
The Vandariel Armor is a combination of mesh and sculpt, making it patially modifiable to fit your unique avatar. The top is mesh, and comes in four sizes so fitting it properly is never a problem.
And as if that wasn’t enough, the Plastik also has a couple of mermaid skins for you. These skins feature scales, because mer-girls and mer-guys need scales.. at least I think they need scales. Shown is Arkasia {Mola}://Scales, from The Plastik. I’ve shown it with spots layer tattoo, which is included along with a couple dozen other tattoo layers.

Quixote’s Dream has a couple of interesting packages set out as Fantasy Faire 2013 donation items. These are full avatars including a shape, skin, eyes, and outfit. No hairstyle is required, trust me on this, but you can add your favourite to the Golem avatar if you wish.
The first is a traditionally sized Golem avatar that includes everything you need to terrorize your local village. The second is also a Golem mesh avatar, but this one is gargantuan! It comes in two basic sizes (with variable sizes depending on your personal needs): 2X and 3X a normal avatar size. It’s difficult to show the scale of these avatars in a photo, I tried. Fortunately, there are demos available for you to try out. Wearing the colossi Golem avatar you will get attention, people will ask questions, and you will have a hard time fitting inside a traditionally sized house.
Now go out there and frighten a few villagers.
Details
- Golem (female), from Quixote’s Dream. Includes the skin, eyes, and clothes, and a shape (The shape used in this picture is my own).
- Preen – Black/Purple Tip hairstyle, from The Stringer Mausoleum
- Pose from Musa
- Hand Fireball from C&D Designs. Not sure if these are still available.

It is true, Elvenbreath is closing, and if you try to teleport to the old shop location, you’ll find the land for sale. But, if you head on over to the new location in Shadowholt, you’ll find many styles from 20% off to 50% off. If, like me, you love Elvenbreath styles but find them a little too pricey for your budget, this is a great time to pick up some great deals.
Elvenbreath also has an area of 50L$ deals. You can find older outfits and jewellery here, so remember to check this area. Be warned: You might be tempted to spend your last linden dollar here, because there are some gorgeous clothes at rock bottom prices.
By the way, you can breath a sigh of relief, because even though Elvenbreath is closing, it’s only for a week or so. After that, Seline Forder will re-open Elvenbreath with a hunt and lots of new items! Target date for the re-opening is 27 September 2012. Join the Elvenbreath group now, because you don’t want to miss out!
Hairstyle shown is from Bizarre Hair. Sensi is a decorated updo, and though it comes with long bangs parted in the center, I’ve shown it here with the shorter bangs from the Glamour hairstyle, also from Bizarre Hair. I love that I can mix and match Bizarre Hair styles to get just the look I want.

I am NOT posting the full Twisted Hunt. If you have come here for hints, multiple prize listings, or a list of shops for the Twisted Hunt September 2012, you’re in the wrong place. I’m sure the prizes are awesome, they always are.. but the Twisted Hunt is one booger of a hunt. It’s a challenge for sure – and I’m not up for it. I’m not dissing it, I’m just not up for the entire hunt. Are the prizes worth the work? Absolutely!
With that out of the way.. I’m about to show you a prize from the Twisted Hunt September 2012.
Many of the groups and news groups I am in participate in the Twisted Hunt, and I’m in these groups for a reason: I love their products. So when, say, Likka House sends out a group message saying, “Hey.. we’re in the Twisted Hunt”, my ‘Good Stuff to be Found for Free’ radar goes haywire.
The ensemble above is D-arch Angel. The main Twisted Hunt prize includes the unisex wings and outfit, though they’re billed as male and female gifts. The main prize is super easy to find.
The cape and sword are a different story, and are the prizes for the mini-hunt.
To do the mini-hunt, walk out of Likka’s House and turn right. Go to the end and pick up a HUD from the kiosk. Wear the HUD and go down into the RMK dungeons. You need to find ten cubes to fill the HUD. This is not easy, and I had to de-render damn near the entire place to find them.
Alrescha, in Baby, is shown above. This sweet group gift was given out in August, and I’m just now posting it. Although this is no longer available, join the group so that you don’t miss out in the future. You can still get Alrescha in Black and Pinky at the Likka House main Shop.
