The Samantha Gown, pictured above is the Mystic Sky prize for the Sperm Hunt. This hunt ends  on 16 Nov, so you only have a few more days to pick  up this prize.

Ona Stenvaag of Color me Chaos sent me a review copy of the Royal Jester outfit currently in the Lucky Board at her shop.  It’s one of five new Jester outfits at Color Me Chaos — and they’re all adorable.

Each comes complete with the mask, the skirt, and the boots.  You also get the bodysuit on all layers, the corset piece on all layers, and the tights on all layers All pieces are copy/mod and skirt and boots are resize scripted.

The other jester outfits are shown below, These can be purchased separately for 200L$ each, or as a fat pack for 750L$.  You  get five outfits in the fat pack, which is like getting 25L$ off one and a whole other outfit for absolutely free.

What a sweet deal!

Prettifulness is a word. You might not find it in the dictionary, but it’s still a word.. and it describes the way I feel in these dresses from Silk & Satyr and [AV] Vlodovic.

Not a lot of text this time, because I’ve been painting all day and I’m dead tired.. just a couple of prettiful pictures. Both are group gifts, so just join the groups to get these great gowns.

Enjoy!

I’ve had this Purple Passion skirt from Sinners in my inventory for a while now. I like the delicate, greyed lilac colour, and I especially like it with the soft green of the Wezz Sweater from Modd G.

This is a skirt you can actually move in!

Dance like nobody's watching!

Accessories like the scarf from G Field (update group gift), the Simple Leggings in Plum from Concrete Flowers (1L$) , and SoHo Boots from Maitreya (update group gift)

Photographed at The Forest on Caerleon Isle.

The title of the note card, “sexually explicit content”, caught my attention immediately. Normally I might send a note card with that title to that great LL rubbish bin in the oddly hued Second Life sky, but this note card came from the Second Life Artists group.. so it was obviously worth a look.

Gargantuan Uterus

The notecard itself was interesting. Artists are often the first to break laws and rules the censor our freedom of speech. And yes, to answer your question before we ask: we do it to push the limits imposed upon us by government, social mores, corporations, and religions.

Egg and Sperm Mobiles in the Gargantuan Uterus

Here is the artist’s explanation of his installation piece:

Hello beautiful ppl!

I am sure you all know that sexually explicit content is censored from SL art. I know that most of you have problem with that, as of course I do.
One of biggest absurd with that is that no one defined what is sexually explicit. Woman breast can be seen as object of sexuality, but its primary purpose is not that, that is first source of food for new born human. If u find breasts for sexual, then you have to consider mouth as sexual content also. Fingers, any part of body can be sexual content! Not only parts of body, leg of table someone can use as sex tool if that makes them happy.

Anyway, I made installation “Gargantuan uterus” in Pirats gallery that will be reopened today for visits. It is 100×100x100 meters large uterus in which u can rezz sperm mobile or eggcellmobile, chase around it with other ppl, bump on each other and play creation of life – most magnificent moment in existence of universe.

Tp for uterus is where problem begin! What is only logical entrance to uterus? Vagina! I made tp in sculpted vagina – that is directly against LL interpretation of TOS, in other words, I could get banned for that, Pirats gallery could be closed…

Thanks to Newbab Zsigmond who talked for more then hour with LL officials, I was granted permition to show  vagina as part of my project. In this case Vagina is not represented as object of sex, but as “gate” through which I saw light of the world for first time!!!

Pirats gallery won one big battle for freedom of expression in art. They risked a lot for it and they didn’t have to. They could bow their heads, but Newbab showed strength to fight for art.

I invite you all wonderful creators in SL to create what ever you want, art was always tool for progress of civilization… ART MADE HUMAN CIVILISED!!! Express your ideas and follow them till the end, no matter what it might cost, this world belong to creators…

Igor Ballyhoo

Please support freedom of expression through the arts by visiting not only the Gargantuan Uterus exhibit, but all the exhibits at currently at Pirats gallery.  These exhibits are a virtual feast for your eyes.

Autumn is my favourite season. Even in Florida there are mornings when we wake up to a chilly bite in the air. It warms during the course of the day, even in winter, but that autumn chill that we wake up to starting in October is very refreshing.. and very welcome.

There are lots of fashionable dollarbies and gifts in these pictures. Some of the items shown are oldies, some are new.. but all are goodies.

Starting with the picture above..

The shoes shown above are an old gift from Ztique, and are no longer available as a gift.  Button Me Up Socks are a recent subscribo gift from Doppleganger, and are too cute when combined with the dollarbie Simple Leggings from Concrete Flowers. Of course, we’ve all seen the cute Paine skirt from Lelutka, which was a gift sent to group members. But it’s given a fresh look when paired with the Cardigan from Pididdle and arm warmers from Amaris designs.

Skin is the Pulse gift, currently available at their Skin Expo location. Hair is from Oni Productions, and was a find in the HTGT hunt.

Take the time to take a stroll through Artis Natur. The leaves haven’t quite turned yet, but I suspect we’ll be seeing the reds and golds of autumn there soon.

This warm sweater, by Antonia Marat, is available at Winterstock. It’s shown with an old gift from S.Y.D., and accessorised with the most wonderful over-the-knee socks I’ve seen yet. The Refurbrished Socks are a subscribo gift form Miel, and I absolutely love them!

The newsboy cap and hair are from Iren, and fit the mood perfectly!

If  you prefer to explore by horseback, head to one of the stables on the grid – there are several good quality ones. Most will have a demo you can use for free.. or you can purchase your own horse. These act as an attachment so that you can go riding anywhere that allows horses. I chose this fine steed from AKK stables. It has five ‘uses’ before the demo wears out.

The black Cowgirl outfit, from Ho Wear, looks perfect while riding my (temporary) horse.

The cute cowgirl hairstyle is from TeaLane, and is called Evangeline. Evangeline comes complete with a straw hat, but I like the look of the black hat included with the Cowgirl outfit.

Autumn Look #4

Next up is this yummy look from Prim & Pixel Paradise called A Berry Paisley Holiday. You can find this outfit upstairs in the shop. It’s a gift from Mairead Fitzgerald (Thank you!).

The cute, short hairstyle Shang is sporting in this picture is from Junwave. Stop by to pick up the gift, and stay to look at the other great styles available here. The skin in this photo is from GeEs, and is available right now at their Skin Expo location at a special reduced price.

All these photos were taken at Artis Natur.. which is always worth another visit.

If you love dollie dresses, you’re gonna love these gifts from GPD and The Doll House.

omg.. so many dollie dresses!

GPD has the Web Maid (left) in the Midnight Mania board, so head on over, give it a poke, then take a look at the other great clothing GPD has to offer. Don’t forget to check out the lucky chairs, where I was lucky enough to pick up the Missy Dollie dress (right).

Right next door, on LVS drive, stop to see if the pumpkins are still out for the trick-or-treat hunt there. If you’re lucky, and they’re still out, The Doll House has the cute Ghost Treats dress (center) for you.

I haven’t been keeping up with my posts, I’ve been super busy in real life and second life.

In real life I’ve join an artist’s cooperative, and we’ve just moved into a new building. Of course, being the newest member, what do I do? I volunteer to manage the gallery of course!

Enyway..

I have a cool selection of shirts to show you, all 1L$ or less.

Shirts from Pididdle and Sad ClothingThe Hungry for a Holiday Cardigan from Pididdle (1L$), and Sad Clothing logo tank top from Sad Clothing (DSN gift) are shown above.

Shirts from Kamikaze and Nympetamine

The shirt on the left is the Lila Chess Shirt from Kamikaze. Kamikaze puts out dollarbie editions of some new releases for a couple hours, you have to join the subscribo or group to hear about them, and be fast on these when they’re announced. The other two shirts are from Nymphetamine, and came in a box filled to over-flowing with pretty, versatile shirts.

Arm-warmers were a Halloween trick or treat gift from Amaris Designs, if you’re fast it might still be available.

My art will be on exhibit through November in 7 Colinas Outdoor Art Gallery.

This exhibit is a mix of older pieces with some of my new acrylic and water colour pieces. This is a perfect time to pick up one-of-a-kind gifts for the holidays!

7 Colinas Art Gallery

After your visit to the 7 Colinas Gallery, stop by Lofty Aspirations, my own gallery, to see more of my work, including the Blue series. You might even find a few dollarbies sitting around.

7 Colinas Art Gallery

While you’re at Lofty Aspirations, feel free to use the photo box, then head down to ground level to wander around Bae.

Lofty Aspirations

A couple days ago I wrote in support of the real life content creators who’s products are being sold illegally in SL.

I was teleporting randomly in Second Life. I do this on occassion, I think it drives Hawk a little crazy. Anyway, I happened on a little shop with a Step Up Campaigne poster outside his/her shop.

Step up!

The shop owner even has a sign that promotes intellectual property rights. Yay! I’m loving this person already, and want to give him/her a big hug for respecting the rights of real life artists!

Intellectual Property Rights are observed in this shop! Hurray!!

“Great!” I thought, because more shops embracing the Step Up Campaign to promote the protection of intellectual property rights is better for all of us.

A closer look, though, quickly dashed any illusions I might have had, and sent my euphoria to a screeching halt.

Stolen Atwork!

Ok. Lesson #1: Just because some 11 year who plays RPG’s uploaded a Vallejo/Bell piece to the internet because she wanted a cool picture to represent her fairy character doesn’t mean that it’s free for the taking.

Review Policy:

I would love to review items in
your shop, especially if I have
purchased from and/or blogged
your shop previously!
